Finally, the time was here... time to celebrate with friends and family that our little family of three (ok, family of 6 with the furs) had made it through one whole year.
It seemed sort of obvious what theme we should go with- baby loves his ugly dolls in the shape of little monsters, and one of our dear friends made a monster blanket that quickly became the favorite blanket.
So, monster party it was!
The backyard was all decked out with bubbles and playthings.
We had some sandbox times...
And some pool time...
To top it all off, Grandma Irving made awesome monster cupcakes and a smash cake.
The cake smash (or demolish) was a complete success!
Happy Birthday Nolan- you have filled our days with purpose, and our nights with cuddles and smiles.
